Born and raised in Chicago, Diana knew she wanted to be a writer by the age of nine. A playwright, author, speaker, and former teacher, she has written and published theatrical works, indie films, short stories, and now children’s books.

Diana treasured bedtime rituals filled with stories, lullabies, tickles, and tucks shared first with her grandmother, then with her own four children. Those moments inspired the beloved characters of Netty, Naysker, Champers, and Pike, and blossomed into The Snugawinks of Cuddleton Falls® series — a whimsical world of lyrical rhymes and storybook illustrations.

Now a proud grandmother of two, Diana’s newest joys have inspired her to launch SnugawinksNursery, a whimsical Etsy shop featuring nursery wall art, baby shower games, and storybook-inspired printables. She is also the host of the upcoming parenting podcast Rock-a-Bye Diaries, blending generational wisdom, modern parenting insights, and soulful storytelling.

Her mission in building the Snugawinks world is simple yet profound: to help families create more calm and connection through love, stories, and moments that last a lifetime and beyond. “Because we don’t just raise children, we raise a better world. And that is our legacy.”
